We also do research on organizations and consumers -- whether buying products or audiences for the popular media. Our organizational research is primarily of interest to company owners, executives, and managers; our consumer research mainly of interest to these same owners and executives, plus marketing personnel. Plus these topics often appeal to a popular audience, so we have written books on these topics, too. The approaches
we use draw on various methods --
ethnographic and
evaluation research;
interviews and focus
groups; questionnaire
design and survey analysis. In addition, we present the results
in various ways -- primarily through
PowerPoint and
multimedia presentations, besides written reports. Here are some
