In our preliminary study in the San Francisco Bay Area, we used two questionnaires to test out the concept, name, and preferred product features.   The results showed that both dog and cat owners loved the idea and name for the PetSpeaker, and most were eager to buy a PetSpeaker once available.   They were eager to learn what their pets were thinking, feeling, or saying on a number of topics, and we incorporated their reactions into our ads and PR campaign.
